From a large training facility to a smaller startup. I have dog training experience with many different cases.
In 2015 I gave up the corporate world to follow my dream of becoming a dog trainer. I love animals, and I’ve always had a connection with dogs. I got officially certified for dog training and started working immediately. During this time I specialized in puppies and trained many for years.
I regularly seek continuing education opportunities to stay current on the latest positive reinforcement training methods and scientific studies.
I started in a large business, and gained a lot of valuable experience. I then went overseas to learn and train, and then came back to work at a sucessfull startup. I decided it was time to start my own.
We offer private in home training to address all your training and behavior problems, from potty training, to jumping, walking politely on a leash.
Why work with me?
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT). This program is an internationally recognized certification for professional dog trainers. A dog trainer that has passed the certification exam has demonstrated knowledge of instruction skills, animal husbandry, ethology, learning theory, and equipment.
CPDTs are bound by a code of ethics. The continuing education requirement ensures that CPDTs are informed about the most current thinking, research and techniques in the field. CPDTs are guided by a Humane Hierarchy which assists dog owners and dog care professionals in understanding the standard of care to be applied in the dog training industry in determining training practices and methodologies and the order of implementation for applying those training practices and methodologies.
