At Abello's Dog Training, training is about more than teaching commands. It is about creating clear communication, dependable behavior, and a healthier relationship between dogs and their owners.
Professional training background
Juan José Abello is the founder and head trainer of Abello's Dog Training. His path began with a deep love for dogs, volunteer time with shelter dogs, and experiences with dogs like Susy that shaped his commitment to helping families stay together. He graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2014 and continues to focus on practical owner education, calm communication, and real-life results.

About Me
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, I was always the person who ended up spending more time with the family dog than with everyone else. Connecting with dogs came naturally to me long before I imagined it would become my career.
Before becoming a professional dog trainer, I spent years working in customer service and management. Those experiences taught me skills I use every day: listening, solving problems, and building trust with people.
My training journey began with a genuine love and empathy for animals, especially dogs that needed someone to understand them. Volunteering with shelter dogs, and experiences with dogs like Susy, shaped the way I see this work.
I graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2014. Since then, every dog, owner, and environment has reinforced the same lesson: lasting progress comes from clear communication, owner education, patience, and consistency.
Most behavior problems are communication problems.
Dogs are constantly communicating with us. The challenge is that many families have never been taught how to understand what their dog is trying to say. Once that communication improves, everything else becomes easier.
My job is not simply teaching dogs to sit, stay, or walk politely on a leash. My job is helping families understand their dogs and build routines they can maintain.
Every lesson is about building trust, creating understanding, and giving owners the confidence to lead their dogs with kindness and consistency.
I do not just train dogs. I educate owners.
